The noise from the bass beat was so intense that our rooms, bed, kettle, and holder vibrated until midnight. we were over the weekend and had an amazing time! we had a meal in the restaurant Friday evening that was beautiful! the camembert with chorizo was amazing as the lasagne! the disco in the bar on Friday was great! the personal was so friendly and beautiful and made us feel very welcome! especially alicia (sorry I melissa instead of alicia on tripadvisor haha! sian and matt were super! We booked a room for December and were not informed about the excessive noise we would experience. We were unable to sleep due to the loud vibrations coming from the disco directly above our room. We even had to remove the kettle from its holder to try to stop the noise. I felt unwell the following morning. The owner was unwilling to address our concerns and only offered a reduced price through his brother, who claimed he had no responsibility as he only worked in the kitchen. Would like to say a big thank you to Nicola Beeby and the staff at The Stage for the wonderful evening we spent on Thursday celebrating Gill Roy Bright's 60th Wedding Anniversary. Couldn't have asked for better service, atmosphere and food.
The staff at Stage Restaurant are not very friendly or organized. My experience there was disappointing. The food was okay, but it was not piping hot. In addition, the staff spent most of their time on their mobile phones.
