We had a lovely lunch at The Linden Tree, which has been newly renovated and under new ownership. We ordered chorizo, steak, truffle chips, and Greek salad tapas, which were all served on small plates. We enjoyed being able to try a variety of dishes at a reasonable price. However, we found that the quality and quantity of food were not as good as other tapas restaurants, especially considering the price. We were able to order 4 tapas for less than £25. Although we didn't try the cocktails, they had a good selection available. We sat in the beautiful winter garden, which had a sunny view of the outdoor seating area. It's a lovely restaurant, very clean and comfortable. But I'm writing this review about the food as it was amazing. The burgers were obviously freshly home made, very tasty and very well presented. We had the Blooo burger, the hot mess burger, which was huge,...a pizza and macaroni cheese. They were all lovely and had a massive thumbs up from the kids. Run by really lovely staff as well which definitely adds to the overall experience. We will be back!
This gastropub/restaurant is lovely. There is a beautiful outdoor garden area to enjoy when the weather is nice, as well as a cozy indoor dining area with a winter garden feel. The menu is not extensive, but they focus on offering quality options. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The prices are fair for the quality of food. I would recommend trying this restaurant.
we went to the linden tree last Wednesday 4 May 2022 for a work dinner. there were 10 of us and eating and service were absolutely amazing. great atmosphere with a good selection of music that plays soft in the background. many thanks to vikki and the team, I will definitely return with my colleagues and friends and family

Today we dined at The Linden Tree for a roast dinner for three people. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and our requests for extra vegetables were accommodated without any trouble. This will now be a regular dining spot for me. I cannot praise it highly enough!
Thought me my husband would have an evening meal out. We were served by Jade Dan who were excellent nothing too much trouble. The food was cooked to perfection. We will be returning very soon. The meals for was very...good value.
Fancy a nice Sunday home cooked roast ,well this is the place to visit, just a little outside of town , has ample parking, food was amazing and so was the service, best pub roast I've had in ages.
The food was fantastic. Good choice and excellently cooked. The place looks great inside and there is a good sized space outside with several tables and umbrellas. I can't wait to go back

The Station was really good value for money. Really delicious, big portions and well cooked! We ordered it to be collected and was perfectly on time!
