The little details that once made this place special are gone. No more tableside touches, no flavored butter, and instead of delicate puff pastries on the escargot, you now get basic buttered toast. While the service was good, all three of our steaks were heavily seasoned with an overpowering amount of salt—completely different from our previous six visits. To top it off, despite booking a table for three, we were squeezed into a booth meant for two. Disappointing changes from what used to be a great experience. On previous visits, the manager would always come around, check in on guests, and introduce themselves, adding a personal touch to the experience. I’ve traveled to 15 different count...
We had a reservation for 9 PM and were running a bit late. When we called to inform them, they simply told us that they don’t seat anyone after 9, without even asking how late we would be, and said we would need to reschedule. We were only going to be 10 minutes late. We’ve been coming to this restaurant for our anniversary for nearly 8 years, and since we had just gotten married, this meal was meant to be very special for us. When I attempted to make a new reservation, there were no time slots available, and no one answered the phone for assistance.
We've been regulars at Silver Reef Steakhouse for quite a while, viewing it as our favorite place for a special meal. Unfortunately, our latest visit was disappointing. The quality of the steaks has noticeably declined, and the drinks, especially the martini, weren’t up to par. The unique appetizers that used to be served are no longer offered. Although our waitress provided excellent service, the change in management has made us hesitant to return anytime soon.
My husband and I recently got married, and this restaurant made our honeymoon truly unforgettable. It radiates romance and sophistication, exactly what we were hoping for. We couldn't find any faults at all. We are already planning to return for our annual anniversary dinner. We have been going to the Steak house for over 20 years.We understand it has changed management. The oyster rock was not even close as before even though on website still says original recipe.I should have looked at menu.Salmon was still delicious. Our waiter Rick was amazing...made our night !! We had a reservation for four, but at the last minute, two additional family members from out of town joined us. The head waiter went out of his way to ensure that all six of us could sit together. The service and food were outstanding, just like always. Simply the best!
