As soon as we walked into the Stone Arms, both my wife and I, was greeted by the waitress/bar maid, who was so polite, charming and very welcoming. She showed us to our table and even though we were early, as our names were reserved the night before, there was no concern so we ordered our drinks. There was no rush to order, and the place was full with customers both in the restaurant and the bar. Our starters arrived and were lovely, fresh and delicious. We ordered the small Sunday dinners (small they were not), they were cooked to perfection with the cauliflower cheese sauce to die for. I was so full that I elected for a coffee. what a great pub and restaurant with brilliant friendly staff, we all decided to go with the festive lunch menu and what a tasty bite it was, beautifully freshly cooked and presented and the wonderful personal could no longer have been helpful and friendly. we will be back
