Relaxing afternoon with friends in a tavern atmosphere. Soup of the day was potato, cheese with bacon. Delicious on a chilly day. Our sandwich of choice was a shaved corned beef Reuben grilled with sauerkraut and Russian dressing. Definitely worth the wait. Friendly staff in warm comfortable booth just a stones throw from the bar. Pub food done right! You'll be glad you stopped in, we were.
Had the best cold shaved corned beef sandwich in the area. No fat and very eatable, compared to two other restaurants that had the sandwich turned back into the kitchen. The cheddar cheese leak potato soup was also delicious.
I have to say that Ron the daytime bartender is extremely rude and disrespectful. I found him borderline racist and sexist. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Friday night dinner and drinks. Both fantastic. Kevin H. our server was attentive courteous not pushy. Will return promptly. Not just a sports/ shot&drink place.
