This is a fantastic hidden gem in Carlsbad. I enjoy working from different coffee shops, and this one is now my favorite in Carlsbad. Despite being located in a church, I was initially hesitant to visit due to my feelings about religion. However, the environment was not overly religious, and I did not feel any pressure to convert. The entire property is beautiful, and the atmosphere is great. The staff is thorough and friendly, and it was not too crowded when I visited. They offer a good selection of non-coffee drinks, which is a huge plus for those of us who don't drink coffee. The website indicated that the restaurant is open, but upon arrival, it was closed due to COVID. It would be helpful for them to update their hours and simply state that they are closed on their website. This was the second time I have made the journey only to find that it was closed. The coffee was good when the restaurant was open, however.
Could you please update the hours of operation on your Google listing to accurately reflect when you are open? I stopped by when Google indicated that you were open, but you were closed.
There are limited breakfast options available, but the food is very tasty. The prices are reasonable and the service is attentive.
