My sister and I booked the Streetbridge Inn after our mother’s funeral and father’s memorial service. The pub is a very short drive from the Cemetery and easily accessible. The pub opens at and we were running early but the doors were opened when...we arrived and we were grateful for this on a cold November morning. The room is unusual in that it’s quite large but feels quite homely. We were a small group and we didn’t feel lost or cramped. Chicken was still pink (though it was claimed it was the marinade after a printing)and subsequently sent back. We attended a wedding here and thoroughly enjoyed the whole night. Granted we had great company but the venue was responsible for making sure the night ran smoothly. They provided the food, which was all nice and hot. Quite a feat when trying to dish...up large numbers of meals in a short time. The bar is pretty well stocked and reasonably priced. In the afternoon there was a mini bar serving cocktail pitchers outside where many of the guest were sitting as it was a nice afternoon. The decor is clean, bright and modern. We booked the function room for a family event and I highly recommend it. The staff were excellent, the decorations were fabulous, but the food was absolutely amazing and the presentation exceeded our expectations. Top marks, thank you! The only minor suggestion is that it was very hot, so they need air conditioning or to open the windows.
The event was a buffetmeal following my cousins funeral. The team were most helpful and the food plentiful and really fresh, a nice variety. The room was comfortable and very clean. All that we could have wished for.
Came here for a family birthday meal and it was average. The food was ok and the pub itself was nice and clean. The staff seemed friendly and the prices were reasonable.
