We decided to stop by this restaurant because it used to be a favorite of my husband's mother. We were seated in the bar area, which was somewhat busy for 4:00, but not overly crowded. After waiting at our table for five minutes without a server, my husband went to the front to ask for assistance, and they eventually found our server. However, she didn’t apologize for the wait. My husband ordered a lemonade with his meal, but it was only refilled after she finished chatting with some friends at the bar. The food was quite good, but the service was lacking—our server was cold and slow.
We loved it! It was super busy when we came (around 4:30 on a Friday), so make sure you get there with time to wait if it's during a peak time. It was a bustling place! Our server was super friendly and smiley. She told us a lot about the history of the restaurant and how dedicated staff are. Some have been there for decades! We decided to order two things on special: the fish sandwich and stuffed pork chops. Everything was super good! We also got the szechuan green beans, which were amazing!!
My son and I have been here for ten years. We love it! The food is consistently well done, I don't know how chili stayed so close to this restaurant in the store. The prices are excellent, I never had bad service, the vibe is lively, the horseshoe bar is ideal and welcoming when you are in the bushes after a fast night, they host Lil games (such as bingo) and every piece of food we have ever ordered, we were delighted with. Steak bits and green beans are a must!
The waitress was fantastic, and the food was incredible. The staff was friendly, and my family and I loved the variety on the menu. It was quite busy on a Monday night, which is always a promising sign. The manager, Denise, estimated a 10-minute wait for us but seated us in a nice booth within just 5 minutes. That really made our day! This was our first visit, but we will definitely return.

Stopped for lunch, enjoyed the chicken wild rice soup. Had the Asian Chicken Salad, I would say just OK...not really a fan of iceberg lettuce unless it’s a wedge salad. Chicken was dry and over cooked. Good service, server was friendly and attentive. Tex Mex salad had by spouse he really liked. Friend had tacos and left half of it. This used to be our go to place, it’s changed
The Szechuan green beans and the salad shells are my favorites. I also had other menu items, but these two are main characters in my story. The service and the food were always very good. There is an upgraded sports bar style atmosphere and the terrace is beautiful and spacious. I highly recommend a casual and reliable dinner spot.
Very pleasantly surprised at this restaurant that has stood the test of time and morphed with the times. We shared the walleye, szechuan green beans, loaded baked potato. Good! Salad and chicken wild rice soup nice! Good IPA beer selection. Even a gluten free for me. Super sweet server. Nice for date night. Great ambience
Pictured is the chicken quesadilla and Buffalo wings?both were delicious! We went for the Vikings game. They have pretty good deals for game day and decent happy hour deals. Definitely will be going back
