We visited during the Love Cambridge Restaurant Week and were greeted by the charming maitre d' who took great care of our table throughout the evening. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant—not too loud at all. I had a lovely evening with three friends. Thank you so much, and we hope to return soon!
Afternoon tea was served in the garden room which looked lovely. The service was very attentive and the food was excellent although the tea was weaker than we would normally take it. It was very noisy due to two party groups present and quite difficult to hear each other speak at times.
We were in the coffeee shop, don’t know if this is the afternoon tea lounge. The waitress was very good even if she was the only one there and a bit busy. The sandwiches were very basic, scones were nice, cake very exotic not quite English afternoon tea cakes.
beautiful afternoon for my ninetyth birthday. the selection of tee was beautiful and was pleased, it were tee leaves and not tee bags! the service was 10/10, friendly, friendly, attentive staff. beautiful environment and eating was delicious. Book a table now

The restaurant is slightly overhyped; the ambiance is different from what the style suggests. However, the service was good, and the food was decent.
Unfortunately the service doesn’t live up to the price. Although the food was excellent. Just don’t order the carrot cake a few crumbs on a plate!

"visited la maison du steak with adult and children eating was good service was ok best spent on eating plus a manditory service fee of whitch I did not ask to pay, but was said I did not have any choice because the manager was not on this day it unpopular mine, but it is not our culture in Britain to pay service fees so that it lets down the cleaning"
