The service at this restaurant can be a bit slow and sometimes inconsistent, but the prices and food are excellent. When I went with a party of 4 on a Tuesday at 5pm, the inside of the restaurant was empty. Overall, the experience was positive despite the occasional delays in service.
On New Year's Day, the restaurant was bustling with 4 full tables. I ordered the 12 oz rib eye cooked rare, with a side of stuffed potato and vegetables. Unfortunately, the steak was rare but burnt on the outside, and had too much fat and gristle.
Rock Creek has unexpectedly delicious food! I have tried a variety of dishes and appetizers (not all in one day of course) and have enjoyed every single one. The Tuna Tartare is a must try!
Had the regular burger, bacon cheese deep Fried pickle, skinny fries__Patty seemed to be house made and cooked nicely, a little too salty for me__Pickle
