The upstairs rooms are designated for private events, but the stairs might be challenging for older guests. However, there is a restroom available upstairs, which helps minimize trips up and down. We were allowed to arrive an hour early to set up and decorate, and they even accepted our balloon delivery to save us the hassle of transporting them ourselves.
We had the tables arranged on the left side and the food set up on the right, which created more space between the tables. We also kept the gifts in the same room where we were seated, which worked out perfectly. I cannot thank Taphouse Wayne enough for helping me plan such a memorable day for my son and his fiancée. We’ve booked the Taphouse a number of times via OpenTable and have always had a positive experience. My kids love it there! When I booked our reservation this time, it was a beautiful night, so I grabbed an outdoor tent table (like we have done in the past). When we arrived, we saw the tent was dissembled so I called inside and they obviously confirmed that outdoor seating was not available. When I asked if we could still come inside to eat, they said that we would have to wait an hour (spoke to the hostess and the manager). Delicious pizza! We encountered a problem with another dish, but our server, Taylor, and the manager, Chloe, handled it exceptionally well. We will definitely return. I highly recommend the Taphouse. This was our second visit, and we had Taylor as our server both times. She truly represents the ideal of quality service. It's a shame that good service often goes unnoticed these days, so I want to ensure that they receive the recognition they deserve for their efforts. Thank you!
I was there with a friend and both entrees were not good. My salmon was so dry along with the potatoes. My friend had the butternut squash pasta and said it made her sick. Also no walnuts were found (as listed on menu). We share the Brussels sprouts for an appetizer and they were good. Waitress never asked if we needed drink refills. Probably won’t go back. This place used to be very good but has gone down hill.m

I visited this restaurant for dinner with friends for the first time last night. The menu offered a great variety of food and cocktail choices. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, consistently checking on us despite the restaurant being busy. Most importantly, the food we ordered was outstanding. We will definitely return if we find ourselves in the Wayne area again.
Eating was okay. the loan surcharge of 4% is ridiculous. the credit card companies always charge a processing fee to the dealer now taphouse invites customers there.
Food was not hot, steak was tuff, quality of food was consistent to that of mediocre diner food.
