I made a reservation through the app, but upon arriving at the restaurant, I was abruptly informed that my booking was not in the system. Despite showing confirmation, the person who greeted guests was not helpful and only offered a table when prompted. The only available space was in the bar area. The waitresses provided good service, being attentive, polite, and quick. Unfortunately, the food portions and quality did not match the price paid. It's a shame because the location is nice and the pub has a cozy atmosphere.

Service from the waitresses was the only reason any stars are given on this visit I’m afraid, all where attentive polite and very quick. We selected a few items that were unavailable, but the staff was attentive and the food we did receive was good. It would have been nice if someone had bid us farewell as we left, but overall the atmosphere was pleasant and enjoyed by everyone in our group.
We used to like it in the tawny owl but the last visit was very poor, steaks were horrific and tough, in fairness they did knock one off the bill, the salad was not fresh and appeared very limp, dessert was nice, shame don't know what has happened there

A couple of things we chose were not on but the staff were attentive and everything we had was good. It would have been nice if someone said ‘goodbye ‘ as we left but it was a nice atmosphere while we were there and enjoyed by all in our party
The service here could not be better!! The staff are friendly and fabulous. The food is tasty and well presented and it has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Even my mother couldn't find anything to complain about!!
it was a sunday evening so very quiet but we were made to feel very welcome and the young girl serving was so friendly and very helpfulfood was lovely
An enjoyable evening was had by all and no complaints about any of the dishes that were served up
