I went for lunch at this restaurant. The menu had a great variety and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly. The cakes on display all looked amazing, although most were dairy free, which was not clearly labeled. Luckily, I asked and was able to find a dairy free option. It would be helpful if they were labeled better. After a walk, we returned and got a slice of cake to enjoy in the park, which was a lovely experience.
Got to say this is one one the best afternoon cream teas I’ve had. My daughter-in-law treated me and I will certainly be back. Excellent value for money and great that you can choose your sandwich’s cake and scone and even jam. We often have lunch at this gem in Knutsford, the specials board always has a nice treat available! Wonderful freshly cooked food that these days seems hard to find elsewhere. Lovely to sit outside too, the Tea Room has a very friendly family run atmosphere can't wait for my next chicken burger!
This restaurant deserves a higher rating, with 4.5 stars but some places have more reviews. I have been here several times since my last review, for food and today for a pot of Earl Grey tea. I sat outside in a lovely spot, received excellent service, and enjoyed a great selection of cake. Book a table now
Great menu, fab cakes all home made. Lovely terrace outside, so nice and Covid safe. Friendly and helpful staff. One of the best hand cut ham sandwiches I have had. Cappuccino came with a fun chocolate dusting. Returning on Monday for some more cake.
Nice family owned tea room, two steps away from the park. Cakea are to die for and the staff was always friendly and helpful. Perfect place to grab a drink and a cake after running after the children/dog in the park.
The restaurant has an amazing variety of cakes, with the carrot cake being a standout. However, I was disappointed with the quality of my iced latte. I will opt for their tea next time. The staff is friendly.
