The Terrace Café gains its name from its location on Walkerville Terrace. The main option for parking appears to be the street, although there are carparks nearby. The café has some covered outdoors seating street side, and seating for about 30 inside. The décor is smart and functional with a low ceiling and black tables and chairs in a black and white room. From the look of the menu listing, I suspect this café is really aimed at the breakfast and lunch market, but we have come for afternoon tea. They serve excellent coffee, as well as a variety of homemade sandwiches, pastries, and light meals. Additionally, they offer a hearty breakfast that is definitely worth trying. The friendly staff serves everything up with a smile, making it a perfect spot for a coffee, snack, or light meal at a reasonable price.
I have always experienced super friendly service every time I have visited this restaurant. They offer a wide variety of honest and fresh bakery goods that meet your expectations. The restaurant is situated across from the Walkerville Shopping Centre, with both indoor and outdoor seating options and plenty of parking available.
