My partner and I shared the dishes, we started with the fish cakes and tempura vegetables, the fish cakes were lovely and the vegetables were ok but were too oily for my liking (not the usual light crispy traditional Tempura batter). We then shared the Spicy King Prawn Salad, it looks lovely and is light and delicious but be warned it is definitely spicy, we ended up getting some Coconut Rice to try and make it a tad more mild which worked a treat. There are a lot of Thai Restaurants around these days and it is hard to find a good one that is consistent. We made a booking and visiting The Thai Orchid Carindale on a Friday night. The restaurant is situated very close to the shopping centre. Service was outstanding from start to finish including coming around and filling the water and topping up the wine glasses. Lots of room in the restaurant and the air conditioning works well on a hot night. Food was all tasty and well presented. I believe this restaurant would be good for couples and even large groups given the space. Staff were friendly. This is a place I would recommend.
It had been a while since I last ate Thai food and The Thai Orchid at Carindale reminded me of just how great good Thai food can be. We opted for the 'Thai Orchid Banquet', the smaller if 2 banquet options (minimum 2 people) with a selection of entrees, 3 main dishes and dessert. It was delicious, my fav being the yellow Thai curry however each dish was wonderful. At $37/person it was a delicious and filling meal. I definitely recommend it.
We decided to try somewhere new and I know my husband likes Thai food. This place was an excellent choice and open on Sunday nights. The menu looked great but we decided on a banquet for two. The food was delicious - the yellow curry was really nice and not a dish I would have tried if it wasn't part of the banquet. The service was friendly and efficient. Next time we'll take the kids!

It used to be a good service and Food place. We found piece of plastic in our food. When we asked the person at the reception we got no reaction. No sorry no reply. Food is not cheap either. One would expect a good smiling service when you pay the primium price. Otherwise same quality food is available at other Thai places at much cheaper rates.
Delicious authentic Thai cuisine that is healthy and very clean setting at a very reasonable price. The service was excellent and very efficient with nice ambiance and the place has plenty of parking just a few steps away. The chef and manager are very polite and accommodating to customers with attention to detail.
As most of the reviews have said the food and service are hard to fault. We had four different mains and all were excellent, great flavors and generous sizes. Only gave four stars as the a/c was very cold and a couple of menu items were a little overpriced.
A smsll restaurant with delicious food and generous portions. The staff are very friendly and very attentive. This is our thai restaurant of choice either eat in or takeaway.

This is a great Thai, the staff friendly and food is good quality. The dine in menu is wider than the takeaway but you can always pick up something you like.
With our son being Coeliac we have limited options for dining out but Thai Orchid have an extensive choice of GF options. Food has always been beautiful!
