I was the only vegetarian in my group of friends, but my friend who booked the table was informed of a good vegetarian menu. I started with the potato and aioli dip, which was pleasant but the potatoes were a bit greasy and crispy. My husband had the gammon, which he found dry, with chips, egg, and pineapple but no other sides. My friend enjoyed the fish. The vegetarian options were the typical 5 bean chili or Fresh Spaghetti with Tomato, Peppers, Caper Sauce, and basil. I absolutely adore this restaurant. I was searching for a fantastic local spot to dine at, with delicious food and excellent service, and this place is perfect for us! Despite being quite particular, I can't find any faults here and honestly wouldn't want to. The food is consistently cooked to perfection and the portions are generous. The staff are warm and attentive. The establishment is clean and cozy. The Sunday roasts are particularly popular and reservations are necessary. The restaurant always has a steady crowd, indicating they are very well-managed. Bravo and thank you for numerous delightful meals.
We visited this restaurant for the second time and once again, the food and service were excellent, just like our first visit. Last time, we celebrated my mom's birthday and this time, it was for my sister. The menu offers a variety of dishes that are all well presented. This charming English pub in a lovely village is highly recommended for a visit. Thank you.
