Had the Siesta salad--very tasty! Lots of gluten free options, and I was not nervous about cross contamination based on the behind-the-counter workflow. My salad barista was kind and friendly, and she put on the perfect amount of just a little dressing. The price was reasonable for the ingredient quality and flavor. The owner took care of me at the register, and it 's always great to see the owner on-site and working alongside everyone. I went at the perfect time (11:30) because there was only one order in front of me. When I left, there was a line. Outside seating was cozy despite the rain.Vegetarian options: Everything can be built to be vegetarian except some soupsDietary restrictions: No...

I was so disappointed to be disappointed in my experience today. I wfh and rarely get out for lunch. Adding stars for the grilled shrimp! A chilly day, so I ordered the warm Phuket bowl with shrimp. Unfortunately, it was cold. SO cold. Like never started warm, cold. I ordered egg, but could barely find any egg. And the majority of the salad was red cabbage. Also, the mango didn't seem fresh or ripe. I ate half. The rest of it was wet red cabbage. I was sad about the salad. I will however, give The Toss another shot. I think walk-in is probably better. And there was a good vibe, like the workers like being there.

Great array of salads. Everything is very tasty. The one MAJOR downside on their DoorDash app is that they don't let you subtract items that people may not like in their salads like onions and cheese from the salads. They only let you add stuff. Not sure why this has not been fixed. Those of us who don't like onions or cheese or whatever should be able to subtract out things from the premade salads. We should also be able to choose the dressing. I personally like balsamic vinaigrette with most salads. Otherwise an exceptional array of salads.

It would be great to have The Toss in Palo Alto, BUT the drive is well worth it! My favorite is the Siesta with added roasted garlic cloves! ? Very friendly staff, quality and serving portions are amazing! Everything is FRESH! I am very picky when it comes to my salads, this is the ONLY 'go to ' salad place for me.Vegetarian options: Salad? Lots to choose from.Kid-friendliness: Dog and Kid friendly. Owner is very friendly and provides excellent service.Dietary restrictions: Create your own salad that fits your diet. Book a table now

Only open on weekdays. Salads are made fresh and are delicious. Slightly on the pricey side as lunch will be around $20-25 per person especially if you want to add a piece of bread, cookies, or a drink but it's totally worth stopping by. I haven't had a salad I didn't like yet, but I'm not a fan of the tuna sandwich which is on the salty side and is made with tons of mayo.

Takeout order:7.5/10 Sapporo Salmon Salad $20 salad used fresh ingredients with soba noodles, greens, almonds, carrots, edamame, and tangerines. The miso sesame sauce was pretty bomb and I added sriracha to mine for a spicy kick. Salmon was cooked well and on the drier side. Overall small portions and very expensive for a slightly above average tasting salad.

Great, fresh salads, warm bowls, and panini. It’s a good amount of food but pricey for, essentially, a grab and go. They have a few tables outside and a couple inside but it’s self clearing.I’ve been a few times so the price obviously doesn’t deter me :)Vegetarian options: Can customize most anything to be vegetarian

Love this place! Everything is fresh and the portions are very generous. Great staff that isn’t rushed and take the time to get your order right. I highly recommend building your own salad with a mix of greens and some lean protein!
