I had a delightful impromptu birthday dinner here mid-week yesterday. The location is lovely, right by the castle and the River Medway. The menu offers a wide variety of options to choose from. We enjoyed our meals thoroughly, and the staff was both friendly and efficient. I highly recommend the generous seafood platter as a main course, and if you see the Cointreau chocolate orange cheesecake on the dessert menu, definitely go for it. Overall, a very tasty experience. A solid four stars! Well done, chef!

I found this little one by chance. the staff there were fantastic, friendly, helpful, smiling and good service. they also made such a fuss of my dog and brought him tasty and a bowl of water into the garden. in any case back. the garden was beautiful, the inner looked very welcoming and our lunch was good to boot! well done!
What a lovely pub. Staff are lovely friendly warming and very helpful. Brought my 2 South African friends with me for food and a drink as they where on hoils and visiting in the area. Stopped in for a quick cider whilst out walking my dog. Bar staff were so nice and chatty. Have eaten here many many times and the service just gets better and better.
