I had a delightful impromptu birthday dinner here mid-week yesterday. The location is lovely, right by the castle and the River Medway. The menu offers a wide variety of options to choose from. We enjoyed our meals thoroughly, and the staff was both friendly and efficient. I highly recommend the generous seafood platter as a main course, and if you see the Cointreau chocolate orange cheesecake on the dessert menu, definitely go for it. Overall, a very tasty experience. A solid four stars! Well done, chef!
Really lovely lunch yesterday, there was 8 adults and 2 young children and we could not fault our food at all and the service by our waitress was excellent. Just one little comment concerning our two grandchildren, they are aged 2 and 5 and we found their meal had quite a lot of chunky fries, half the amount would gave been ample, but apart from that all good. Bonus that you serve our favourite Dockyard GIn, lovely x

I found this little one by chance. the staff there were fantastic, friendly, helpful, smiling and good service. they also made such a fuss of my dog and brought him tasty and a bowl of water into the garden. in any case back. the garden was beautiful, the inner looked very welcoming and our lunch was good to boot! well done! What a lovely pub. Staff are lovely friendly warming and very helpful. Brought my 2 South African friends with me for food and a drink as they where on hoils and visiting in the area. Food was amazing. My 2 friends really had a lovely time there. Thank you to you for making us so welcoming. Keep up the good work.
Stopped in for a quick cider whilst out walking my dog. Bar staff were so nice and chatty. Have eaten here many many times and the service just gets better and better.
Great wee pub and so many memories of when I was stationed at Chattenden Bks Great food recommended so do not miss this wee gem of a place
