Turing Tap has long been a favourite of ours. Several ales on tap at moderate prices, and a convenient location, plus food available. Space is generally not hard to find too. The music can be a little too loud for convenient conversation, and I am not sure how famous introvert Alan Turing would feel about this particular tribute The Oxford was at least as good a name but for the main part it simply has what you want from a pub.
friendly atmosphere and pleasant staff. there is a really good selection of high quality beers, among them guests ipa. eating is good and quite tasty, but not the biggest portions, oh warned the food deals with the free drink only last to 4pm but the menu doesn’t say that. they also offer daily offers and give nhs discount.
surprisingly good scran and service for a chain. came for the 2 for 1 pizza before a gig and was chuffed with the amount of actually nice looking vegan options, as well as great craft beer on tap. esther was our server and she was lovely. would come here again in a heartbeat!
Absolutely brilliant. The karaoke nights are outstanding. They didn’t have doorman so the man got it up on YouTube for me, absolutely screamed the living daylights out of that song. I will be returning as the student discount means you can get obliterated for a decent price. Book a table now
amazing pub only at the rande of the uom main campus with many different offered and student discounts on different days. beautiful personal and really beautiful decor. above is also bookable for social events, with a pool table and many sit for companies.
Just dined there with their new menu and food was spot on! Excellent craft beer selection and lots of offers. Seems like they've got lots on throughout the week (quiz, games night etc) and you can watch live sport there too
we stopped here after the exploration of university and were surprised by the variety of delicious foods. the garnel and crumbs mac and the cheese, the baba.
what a jewellery piece. on two etagens with a mezanine floor in between. a good selection of ales and a relaxing, relaxed atmosphere. highly recommended. Book a table now
cheap, cheerful and a very funny environment. eating is fast and easy, but only imaginative enough to let me come back. good veggie and vegan options.
