Situated beside the roaring log fire, we quickly warmed up after our walk around town. We noticed a special menu and decided to eat here instead of going home to cook, which turned out to be a great choice. You get what you pay for and the fact that this is a pub, you ain't paying for fancy decor, highly trained staff or all the bells and whistles of other establishments. As a result, the food is excellent value for money and when you are meeting up a group of friends, you want quality, well cooked food, served reasonably quickly and drinks to go with it. Fantastic traditional English pub located on the High Street of the beautiful market town of Olney. Famous for its annual pancake race, Dickins of Christmas fair and food festival amongst other things. The two Brewers has two lovely bars. The public bar is popular with locals for games like darts and pool. The lounge bar is much bigger and is set out with tables for eating or just drinking around a real fire in the winter months. We noticed a sign advertising a 2 course lunch for £7.50, and didn't have high expectations. However, we were pleasantly surprised! The homemade soup with a warm roll and homemade chili with a delicious side salad were excellent. The drinks were also reasonably priced. Along with the friendly service, we highly recommend this restaurant.
