We came here to watch some NHL playoff hockey as it was one of the few pubs on Steves Ave with the sound on, and although most of the TV's were pretty small, it served its purpose. The wing special was ridiculous. $2.50 for 10 wings that would probably be enough for most people for supper. I barely finished 20 and I was starving, and often times can eat 30 at other places. Plus their other daily food specials looked like pretty good value too. This place is nothing mind blowing, but good enough!
So we were thinking of going out somewhere without kids. After bumming down Macleaod from the South, we ended up parking downtown and walked to the Unicorn. We went to Celtic Cellar, which is the basement floor. The beer was fine, the Twisted Brew I believe. My wife had the Gyoza which was similar to Costco post stickers. I on the other hand had a massive East Coast Donair with Brothers Sausage. Totally worth it.Would go again for Donair!
We enjoyed our late afternoon meal at this sports bar type restaurant. The fish & chips was very good & portion was generous. Cole slaw was included but wasn't my style. My husband enjoyed it ! His Swiss Mushroom Burger was huge & delicious. We both enjoyed the fries. Service was very quick & friendly. We recommend you try 'The Unicorn" when visiting Calgary!!
In town with friends and heard 8th Ave SW was a trendy area to see. Afternoon walk through this district landed us here. Atmosphere was nice, clean and plenty of tvs to watch sports. For was average and drinks were good. Staff was great and very attentive to our needs. Music a bit loud but overall great find. Would recommend for drinks and casual lunch.

Went here with a large group of friends and one of them being my boyfriend was denied access because his Saskatchewan drivers license was expired however he has more than above the drinking age in Alberta - the waitress was very rude about the whole situation ; just not impressed with the way it was all handled - will never be back
We visited the unicorn on a Friday afternoon around 2 o'clock. The place was not very busy however it took a very long time to place our orders, get our first drinks, and then to have the food served. Not sure why it was taking so long. When the food arrived it wasn't that great. Unfortunately not worth the wait.
Was there July 6th for a committee meeting. We sat outside on the patio on a nice warm day. Service was fine, food and drink was fine. I have nothing negative to say about this restaurant but it was not outstanding either. The bar stools tended to make sitting crowded.
We came here for a late lunch and some drinks mid-week, it was quiet and the service was quick and friendly! The food was great and they had a lot of local beers, which was great! They even had on European football- the sound wasn't too loud and it was fun to watch!

Sports bar with lots of tv's. Reasonable priced food and drinks. Burgers were good and the drinks were as well. Was able to accommodate our large group. Close to C-train.
Stephen avenue に面していて、アクセスがいい。こちらに移転する前は地下にあったのですが、新しくなって、外の景色も楽しみながら飲めます。私の好きな種類のビールもおいてあり、大人数で来るのにも十分なスペースがあって良いです。
