Our first and possibly las tonight to the revamped Nic. Apart from the fact that it's a pretty cold night and the heating is minimal - do people not realise that when you're sitting down it's cooler than when you're actually working? Some hospitality issues are literally 101 and common sense. Something clearly not common here! The space is quite nice and looks so much nicer than it used to when it looked like it needed a really good clean, but a little bleak when it's colder. We sat in the second room and ordered a 500ml carafe ( a great idea when you want more than 1 glass) and after a while decided to have some food. Recently attended a function at the Unicor Bar which was booked out for the party.I loved the jarrah floor boards and the set up.Really clean and well set out.Drinks were on the more expensive side than I am used to but the service was quick and friendly.Bar snacks were provided(which I didn't really see) Had a great night and would go back there again for a quieter night.
Four of us met here for a pre-dinner drink on a Saturday night. It was a first visit for all of us and our consensus was - friendly staff, great decor, lots of comfortable seating, good atmosphere, average wine list.It really is the sort of place we all wanted to revisit, however we would have liked a wine list with some better quality choices.

We found this bar by accident and live going here especially Friday after work. Sometimes it's really busy but you are never without a seat. The nibbles are lovely - arancini mmmm. Great wine selection !! Then there's the staff, super friendly.
I was there on a Saturday night, the place wasn't very busy but was warm and friendly. The staff was very nice and the beer cold.The design and decorations are very groove. Its a nice place for a date or for a nice catch up with friends.
Very friendly owners make you feel welcome. Nice array of wines, comfortable chairs. It's like sitting down in a friends lounge room without the kid's toys or the washing up.
