The food is flawless. It needs to be when it 's £15 for a chocolate pudding, but it was so good I 'd be tempted to cycle up here after dinner at home just to have it again, every night. Service excellent, although so attentive they kept doubling up on can I take your drinks order etc just after the other waiter had already taken it.
If you want good restaurants quality food in the more informal surroundings of a (still very nice) pub, The Victoria is for you. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Tasty and not cheap, very still excellent value food, given how good it is. The garden looks like it will be a lovely place to be in the summer too.
Absolutely fabulous meal. Food, service and wines were all exceptional and so nice to finally make it along have been tracking progress since the re-opening. Will definitely be heading back in soon to enjoy it all again.
The food and wine were very good and we were very pleased with the service. The downsides were that it was a bit expensive for what you were getting, and was also too noisy.
