We first used this pub on arrival at the adjoining hotel.It was quiet apart from a few tables of lads watching the footie. We ordered a sandwich and chips, which arrived quickly and was absolutely delicious. I was really impressed as I'm not a fan of pub food usually. We had beef and horseradish with caramelised onion which was simply amazing, and it came with loads of crisps on the side, had we known that we wouldn't have ordered the chips! We returned later that evening for a few more drinks and most of the drinkers were sitting in the hotel lobby leaving the bar fairly empty, however the staff were very attentive and polite, it is a nice place, not at all romantic but it is what it is and...
