My family and I always have a great time at The Village Grocer. We used to visit their old location years ago, but ever since they moved to Kennedy and 16th, everything has improved tremendously. The customer service is consistently outstanding with every visit. They have a wide variety of specialty items, including beautiful flowers, plants, and delicious fruits. My absolute favorite is the jelly roll, which is a sponge cake filled with whipped cream and a mix of berries. It always makes a fantastic addition to any gathering. Just be mindful of the prices, as some items can be quite high compared to a regular grocery store.
The prices at this restaurant are at least 30% higher than at other places, but the cake selection is very tempting. Just a heads up: if you're coming in from the North side, watch out for the curb; it's tricky to maneuver. I scratched my tires on it, and there are a lot of scuff marks on the curb, so I can't be the only one who's had this issue. I really can't figure out why it was designed like this.
Amazing spot! If you're a fan of thick crust pizza, you absolutely have to check this place out. Alex makes the pizza fresh, and you can even order a whole square pizza ahead of time. No matter what pizza you pick, you won’t be let down. We always make a point to stop by when we're in the area. The ingredients are top-notch and fresh! The staff is friendly, and there's plenty of parking.
I had the seasonal special, the Peach Jelly Roll, along with a basket of local peaches today, and they were both absolutely delicious. I would give them a perfect 10/10! My shopping experience at the Village Grocer was also wonderful, as all the staff were incredibly友好. Book a table now
My favorite grocery store has outdone itself once again! They made the most delicious birthday cake for my granddaughter! Thank you, Thomas, Mariella, and the entire team for always surpassing my expectations. The quality is truly unmatched! I love Village Grocer!
Although the prices are a bit higher compared to some other grocery stores, I found them reasonable given the quality of the items. If you're looking for unique products and high-quality goods, a visit to The Village Grocer is definitely worth it!
