great place! I went south and wanted to get out of town. that got the place. super friendly staff, excellent menu and huge portions! Sunday has roasted three courses for £16.95. the starters were huge and the main course tasty well cooked and again a good portion size. we were too full for the desert! we will use this as a stop point when visiting the family to the north.
excellent service by the lady manager and young waiter. eating was plentiful and tasty and hot, the house made mainly chicken cake. overall a great place to break a trip, make sure it was busy at 5.30 on a Friday night. also the price was very good. thank you.
extremely friendly and helpful staff. one of our party had serious food allergies and a menu was prepared for them in advance. clean pleasant restaurant and eating was excellent. highly recommended.
