I came here a few weeks back as I heard about the homemade chips, which were fantastic! A great recommendation. I decided to come back this morning for breakfast as I was in the area. Young girl serving was great, very efficient and friendly (blonde hair, didn’t catch her name) breakfast ordered promptly. Dining area wasn’t busy. Disappointed with the food quality, tasted as if it had been sat there all morning, bacon like leather, sausage raw in the middle and two fried eggs covered in luke warm beans , ordered brown toast, received white toast. that's a nice place to go. the personal is really beautiful. this particular visit was not great, however. you could say the restrictions were gone because the place was jam packed. so much that we sat on a table that was not cleared, and that meant that we were ignored that someone who accepts our order. several people came in after us and were served before us. When I finally caught someone's attention, she said she couldn't monitor who's coming in. I understand, but a waitress saw us before and said she was with us soon, but we never saw her again. Does not look like much from the outside but I am so glad we went in. Lots of crafts and knick-knacks to look at. The staff were really lovely and kind. The food was amazing. Indoors it is huge with a secret garden in the back, so it did not feel overly busy. I would go again and recommend it to anyone passing through Headcorn stop here for lunch.
