Went out for Thursday night dinner and drinks. We sat at the corner of the bar and was taken care of by the bartender Nick. Although he was very busy taking care of other customers, he was very attentive to us and made us feel like family at the bar. The food came out extremely fresh and hot. Nick was able to answer any questions we had about the food and drinks, and you can easily tell he has many years of experience behind the bar. I would definitely recommend The Local to anybody who would like great food and drinks in the Babylon Village area.
been waiting a whole year for the apple harvest salad and apple cider sangria and it was truly worth the wait : Had Kaylie as our waitress the other night she is a pleasure! Do not lose that girl or Sean (who has waited on us twice before . They are both assets to your company!! The only thing i would say could have been better was the pierogis, they were not as good as the last time we had them. Otherwise, the fig flat bread, fries, harvest salad were alllllll delicious. Thanks for always being on point :
Never go to trivia night they didn’t tell us it was $25 per person when you 1. Don’t even play 2. order a water. Came with friends who were eating and they charged me $25 for a water. The waitress said it was $25 a player not person, just to scam us. I also asked for a manager 3 times and the staff refused. I would give zero stars if I could. The biggest scam.
We visited from Alabama and had the best time here! Drinks were good, our bartender Marley (may have butchered that spelling) was so friendly, and the tex mex bowl was out of this world! I seriously can’t believe how delicious it was! We will definitely be back every time we visit. Book a table now
Would give 0 stars if I could. Absolutely terrible service. Was told to leave for “wearing sweats” when multiple were wearing the same thing. Bouncer was completely unprofessional. Go anywhere else Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Really good food and friendly service, right next to the Babylon LIRR station. Nice open windows on a beautiful day. Cocktails were also refreshing!
Food, with presentation, was really very good. Waitstaff service was professional and accommdating. Overall a decent place to dine!
