We were looking for a break from the motorway traffic when we came across a charming little pub in the quaint English town of Nantwich. The specialty recommended to us was a pie and a pint, so we shared a Steak and Kidney Pie with Beef Stilton, accompanied by 'mushy peas,' along with a pint of Hydes Northern Ale. It was delightful northern fare!
I would recommend skipping this place. The manager was extremely rude and really needs to be put in check. She has no idea how to communicate with customers. I just started returning to this pub after a long time, but it’s just average. There are plenty of other places to spend our money. I hope the management at Hyde Brewery takes note of this.
I recently visited this pub for the first time while in Stoke, and I was impressed by how friendly everyone was when we walked in. They were very accommodating with our newborn, which we really appreciated. It’s a great place to enjoy a beer! Although we didn’t try the food, the dishes that were coming out of the kitchen looked amazing.
This is a fantastic spot for drinks and spending time with friends. They've also recently been renovated. The pie and mash looked delicious! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
