This charming traditional pub is owned by a very friendly gentleman who was incredibly welcoming, warm, and good-humored. They serve a great pint of Tennants as expected. I had a delightful chat with some interesting locals and even borrowed a book on Bill Shankley to enjoy while I sipped on my beer. Keep in mind that they only accept cash. Highly recommended.
Nice wee pub tucked away from the main shopping centre. Was bitter cold outside when we visited but we got a warm welcome by staff and the pub was nice and cosy. Also, for a Wednesday afternoon in December, it was quite busy. Only had 1 drink but enjoyed the atmosphere and the bevvy too!
We always receive a warm welcome and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere at this restaurant. It has become a regular stop for us whenever we are in Ayr. Overall, a fantastic pub experience.
I felt that the people made me feel uncomfortable by staring at me for no reason. The woman who served me stopped to talk to a regular for quite sometime before giving me my drinks Book a table now
Great wee pub. Didn't have anything to eat, so couldn't give stars, but I would think it would be as good as everything else.
Staff over keen on cleaning tables not very friendly small flies everywhere was badly bite sorry won't be back used
