We came here in October and the experience and food was amazing. We came again Friday March and sadly cannot say the same. Firstly there are dogs wandering around everywhere, two giant labradoodle type things barking and wandering around including into the restaurant,...where the owner insisted on keep walking through to the garden…amongst other dogs wandering around. Expected a pub not a pound. Secondly the service, although very friendly, was very slow….continually we asked for drinks and had to keep chasing them, and from sitting down to our food arriving was minutes. It took minutes from sitting at our table until being asked to take our drinks order. We weren’t asked again if we wanted further drinks. We asked for the adults starter to come out at the same time as the kids main. They minutes apart. After we wanted a dessert, but got bored of waiting so paid and left. With regards the food, the burger with fries was incredibly plain, which consider I was paying was a complete rip off. Bun, patty, tomato and lettuce. And the kids burger at looked exactly the same. Bizarre. The roast beef looked like it was cooked hours before. We’ve eaten regularly at the Black Lion and Crown, from the Chestnut Group, and always enjoyed it. Sadly Weeping Willow doesn’t me...

We visited here as a family of adults and children for dinner for our sons birthday. We had a very warm welcome and found they had given us the Raspberry room which was perfect for us especially with the children. We couldn’t...fault the excellent service, our waitress was extremely attentive without being intrusive. She was also lovely, and understanding, with the children! We all agreed the food was really good, the main courses were all served at the same time which with of us couldn’t have been easy. We would certainly recommend this great place and would like to thank all the staff for making our birthday celebrations so memorable.

the weeping willow has a wonderful garden and also a great decoration scheme in it is truly stunning. the selection of foods was diverse and interesting. we felt that our appetizers came right away, but the main courses took one because to get there, but we could see. that cook freshly to order.
