Came here on Coronation Bank Holiday and were lucky to find they were having a beer festival and live music. Very tasty food I chose the homemade Thai Green Curry which was delicious. My husband chose the Steak Ale Pie which unfortunately was Steak and Stilton when he began eating it. This was sorted out quickly he received the correct meal and a pint of Abbots as compensation. Another plus point is the free mooring right outside the pub good if you’re visiting by boat. Overall a very enjoyable visit.

Had a Christmas lunch here with my two daughters. We all agreed it was tge best Christmas dinner wed had out for a very long time. Delicious turkey, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, FRESH sprouts unheard of! , we thoroughly enjoyed it. My starter, which I was a bit dubious about, was delicious.I think it was bulgar wheat with edamame beans, dates and a lovely sauce. Prawn cocktail looked good too. The two young barmen/waiters were very polite and attentive thankyou both. We'll be back!

Lovely setting on the river. But Sunday lunch was poor.... Meat was tender but portion was small, cauliflower cheese hard no taste to sauce, carrots hard. Potatoes roast boiled 2 of each. A portion of peas swimming in gravy, i think trying to hide the small portion of meat. Finished with what I thought was a aunt bessy yorkshire pud. Book a table now

We had a lovely one night stay prior to our visit to the Hampton Court Palace Flower Festival, and we're delighted with this lovely old hotel. The staff were so very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and we had a very comfortable night's sleep. Our room had a stunning view of the river and Weir.

This pub has a lovely location but the food is sadly very mediocre. Roast chicken was tough, roast beef was tasteless with watery gravy and cauliflower cheese had a floury sauce but no cheese. One plate had a Yorkshire pudding another didn’t. Not at all impressed.

Good food, brilliant location, especially in the summer as it’s by the river. We had 2 kids with us and a pram, the access could have been a little better for the pram. Other then that I would 100% return.
