We visited Sunday lunchtime with our little dog. We had a very warm welcome from the landlord and his team, and this excellent service continued throughout. The Sunday menu offered dishes other than a roast which is what we both opted for. The ribs were meaty, juicy and very tasty, the salmon full of flavour with a great sauce and accompaniments. We shared a dessert which we regretted as it was so delicious! The wine was perfectly chilled with plenty of choice available for all tastes. The beer and gin selection was extensive. Consistently good .We came for a light lunch and enjoyed prawn cocktail starter with herb butter for the bread and my husband loved the calamari.
