The staff at the restaurant were welcoming and friendly. However, the prices of the food and drinks were quite high considering the quality was not exceptional. The breakfast was enjoyable, but there were some issues with the room. There was an unpleasant smell of fish coming from the kitchen area because of a hole behind the toilet. Additionally, the wardrobe was dusty and filled with cobwebs, which was not very appealing.
Stopped for Friday lunch quite by chance and enjoyed a lovely meal. I had the steak pie, my partner the chicken burger. Both were real food, absolutely lively and good portions. The veg were cooked to perfection and the chicken burger was a huge whole breast in crumb. Very tasty, lovely staff and welcoming atmosphere.
We had the pleasure of having their fantastic buffet lunch following my sons christening, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed and was beautifully presented! The cabin bar and function room was perfect for what we needed and the service was fantastic highly recommend! So friendly and accommodating thank you
Did not feel welcome at all. Very cold reception from bar staff. Enquired about a meal, but staff coldly offered 2 tables 1 at the bar or 1 by the door, not interested at all. Definitely will not visit again. It's a shame because from the outside, it looks beautiful and welcoming. Book a table now
Really good value 2 course lunch. Fish goujons and pork belly as starters, both tasty and pies for main which were lovely. Attentive and friendly staff, we were sitting outside and they didn't forget about us, which is always a good sign. Would recommend. Thank you.
24 of us from Harley Davidson riders club arrived Wednesday,was originally 20. The service was excellent and food came out in no time and was very good and hot. Well done Wentworth arms and thank you for fantastic service.
A comfortable traditional village inn. Great value and a good place if you want somewhere unpretentious, relaxing and friendly. A proper local village inn, excellent beer and classic pub food, I enjoyed my pie. Recommended
