After relocating to Newbridge Road, we had hoped to visit The Weston restaurant. However, shortly after our move, it closed down. In the few days leading up to our departure from the area, a group of three of us stopped by the pub for some drinks. When we opted for takeout, the owner was extremely polite and we enjoyed a fantastic meal in the garden. The wonderful weather certainly enhanced our experience, but all the staff we encountered were friendly and engaging. Overall, we had a wonderful evening at The Weston.
We visited here on a Tuesday lunchtime and were delighted to discover that they serve a carvery every weekday, it was really lovely to sit down mid week and have a roast dinner which we haven’t had to prepare. The person who served us was also helpful and polite.
fabulous Sunday dinner today. the second time there and nothing I could owe. beef was beautiful, largest and best yorkshire pudding ever and fab veg (cauliflower cheese was a winner). Thank you, we'll see you soon.
Very very nice welcoming pub. Landlady and landlord were pleasant and extreemly polite. Very nice Sunday carvery with plenty of choice and pleasantly HOT. Would highly recommend this place....we will be back.
