The Whalebone - Table reservation

This is 2 stars only because the ale selection is good and the pints cost £2.50. I rarely pop in here tbh but occasionally I think I 'll just call in to see what beers they have on and get a cheap pint. I always regret it. This is not a pub, it is a large canteen where everyone has gone for cheap food. The absolute worse thing, much worse than the dirty plates and glasses left everywhere, is the bar service and the way that people for some bizarre reason queue at the bar like you would queue at the till in a shop. The bar is massive with plenty of space to stand at but an orderly queue is always formed behing one of the tills and I find it infuriating. This is not how a pub works. The awful...

simply one of them, if not, the best beer garden I have in a wetherspoon pub and restaurant. they enjoy a vegetarian breakfast with unlimited hot drinks two coffees) for the usual negotiation price of under five. good quality eating served at the right temperature. had a chat with friendly locals. see photos below to see the garden

very nice spoon. lovlee building. very nice outside space. Unfortunately, the beautiful beer garden was all angled out of some ground. only for a coffee. personal nice n friendly. very clean and tidy. I saw a lively place for the short time when we were there.

beautiful place has really enjoyed my meal here today with my friend. beautiful large bar and very polite employees who were not at all pushy. the toilets were in good condition immaculate.

one of the better pubs is in the chain. it can do, but they can find a table quite simple. good beer and eating is good for a decent price.
