So, we were invited to this fine seafood streetside restaurant a short distance from the waterfront for a private birthday party. Great atmosphere but I wasn?t that thrilled with the drinks or food. We had a private wait staff and the atmosphere was nice but chilly inside. My husband ordered a cheeseburger and fries and said it was pretty god. I went against my better judgement and ordered a pomegranate margarita and a salmon entree. The salmon arrived underwell and fell
Based on the prices and ambiance, I?d expect it to be a 5 star place, but it is pretty disappointing. The service is great but the food is only ok, especially for what you get. The seafood ?platter? is $42 but is very little food and served on a tiny plate definitely not a platter. The calamari was good but you don?t get very much of that either there?s little onion rings in there that fake you out. The service is great though. Won?t be back.
The food was really good! I 'd probably say my only issue was with the risotto. While the taste was fine, the cheese was a bit hard and coagulated when it was served instead of that creamy taste I 'd expect out of a risotto. But otherwise, all the food was amazing. Definitely get the seafood sampler! The chocolate mousse was excellent. Light and not too sweet.
The scallop risotto is really good. The wedge salad No, sent it back as it wasn’t a wedge at all, not at all as expected. Same with Caesar salad. Wine was good. Service good. Beautiful restaurant Local gem Book a table now
It was a slow Sunday night with prompt service and attention given to my daughter and I. We enjoyed our evening out. The server was sweet as can be. We recommend the wharf to everyone.
