Lovely pub m/hotel with friendly locals and very helpful and attentive staff. Food menu is excellent and varied with something for everyone. I had the chicken and ham pie and the portion was large and delicious. The room we had was average with a soft and quite uncomfortable mattress and a shower that was not the best. Also the floor creaked a lot when the people above us walked around so get a top floor room if you can. Overall I’d recommend this place.
Introduced our friends the Wilson's to this pub, took them for Sunday dinner! They really enjoyed their meal as did we all. They tell us they have been back several times with other friends and family. Well done White Hart for such a nice meal and creating a warm welcome. Service: 4 Location: 4
Lunch with an old friend. Nacho starter to share, then we each had the 'Special ' braised short beef ribs with homemade mash and fresh veg. Extremely tasty and filling. A busy service and well worth the visit. Food drinks: Excellent quality and portion control
