The White Horse - Table reservation

We arrived ten minutes early and were shown to our table drinks ordered straight away. Our order was taken for dinner which took over 35 minutes to arrive. After we had our dinner my husband noticed all the other tables had two different servings of veg which we received just one greens over cooked and mushy. We ordered a dessert and waited and waited again the waitress came up to us and said the boys are running slow in the kitchen which I relied this is not good. half an hour later we received our desserts and my husband asked for the bill straight away rather than us having to wait again. Great service. There were some delays with food due to how busy they were but they then gave us puddings for free and some money off which were greatly appreciated. The lamb was good, the Yorkshire’s and roast potatoes were tasty and cooked very well. Would highly recommend and we will Most certainly be back for another Sunday dinner- the best I’ve had in a long time!

What a lovely Mother’s Day evening spent with family ,great atmosphere in this wonderful pub ,all the staff was lovely and helpful and the food was delicious and plenty of it to ,will definitely recommend it and will definitely be going back .thank you all xx

Me and my husband popped in while passing through the area. Decided to have something to eat and I rated the food! Deffo worth stopping by. (Compliments to the chef) Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and a nice place for a beer.

Had a lovely meet with work colleagues service was great food was lovely especially the sticky toffee pudding
