We are regular customers at this resturant, visiting approximtely 4 times a year as we are not local to Loughborough. . We lasted visited on the 30th September 2023. This is by far the best resturant I have ever eaten at. It is easy to book a table. The staff are very friendly greeting and welcoming each guest as though they are celebrity and so pleased to have you eating there. The food is excellent, we have specific dietary accomodations, and which they are glad to meet and even remember us from one visit to the next. So had a terrible experience today by the Chinese lady at this place. We arrived without booking and were immediately told fully booked by the Chinese lady! We understood as it looked busy and ordered a takeaway. Went away for 10 minutes and came back. To our surprise one couple walked in without booking and were offered a table. Then a second couple walked in and were told to wait! My wife enquired with the couple and they confirmed they did not make a booking. So my wife challenged the Chinese lady and she just shrugged it off. So from no booking available to two walkins offered a table...how? We are Indians so was that the issue?
Came here for dinner on Friday. The place was full but luckily we had made a reservation. We ordered the mixed platter and chilli salted chips for starters. Mains was various fried rices, chow meins and chilli salted beef. Oustanding food. Will deffo come here again. Our waitress was Maddy who was very attentive served us very well despite being very busy!
Second time I’ve used this place for a takeaway, on my annual business trip to L’brough. Great food, really friendly service and looks a great place to eat in if you preferred. Thoroughly recommend

This restaurant is perfect for a date night. It has a sophisticated atmosphere, and we were seated right away. The food was excellent and reasonably priced.

Excellent for a family meal, excellent gluten free menu, I recommend the cod morney. Husband says the beer is excellent.
