We appreciated the convenience of receiving a text message when our table was ready and for checking if we were on our way. The live musician was fantastic, providing a great set that was not overly loud. Our server was attentive without being too intrusive. However, we found the food to be a bit too salty for our taste. We typically share appetizers and tried the Manchego Fries, which were just okay. The Wings were well-cooked but excessively salty. The Shrimp was enjoyable, but the standout dish was the Brussels sprouts, which were excellent. We would recommend this place for brunch as the menu is impressive, but we probably won't return for later meals.

And looked around, I noticed that most customers were older than the client that it seemed to be a family restaurant. The server was very attentive and visited my table several times before my dinner arrived. After my companion arrived, he asked for a recommendation of a beer and brought him a sample he liked. When she checked back, he ordered the beer. She took our food orders that were excellent. Service was excellent, the band was so-so and the food was excellent.
The restaurant is very open with no booths. The bar and restaurant kind of blend together which makes it kind of noisy. The service was very good. The menu has kind of unusual choices like cauliflower soup and not Maryland Crab soup. There is no wedge salad but they have other odd salad choices. This probably has more to do with personal preference and less to do with the restaurant. Overall it was an enjoyable outing.
Awesome first dining experience at White Oak Tavern! The Apple Cheddar Pinwheels were amazing, as was the buffalo chicken caesar wrap. Our waiter was friendly and attentive and able to recommend a sour beer for my husband. We can’t wait to go back

Excellent food, numerous good beer choices, and wonderful service. Very dog-friendly staff and plenty of room in the outdoor patio area for well-behaved dogs. Also really appreciate the focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients where possible.
