Very good wine beer selection. Menu somewhat limited, but diversified enough. Brussels sprouts appetizer was unique and very generous and tasty. Chicken Milanese was well combined with small tomatoes and asparagus, cooked just right and very filling. I could not finish all of the linguine. Baked cod was similar to varieties served at many of the local restaurants. Our server was as attentive as she could be, but she had a lot of tables to cover and the entrees took a long time from the kitchen-maybe due to the big crowd and maybe short-handed as some staff may have returned to school. All in all, a pleasant and worthwhile evening.
I booked a reservation for my husbands birthday and called the restaurant in advance to confirm a good table and a special dessert. When we arrive there seem to be confusion around our reservation and when we finally where sat it was at the back of the restaurant with floating tables. I asked to be moved after not receiving any service for 10 minutes. After I was moved to a new table it took 1.5 hours to get our food. I was dining with young kids and understand a busy restaurant but this was unacceptable. Overall the experience was very poor. I would not return. ?
We always enjoy a meal at the Wild Goose when we stay in Chatham for vacation. This year we stayed in Yarmouth with our daughter, SIL , and grandchild. After they departed on Thursday and made a reservation for afternoon lunch at the Goose. It was perfect! We requested a seat near window and they accommodated that for us. Service was pleasant and efficient and the food quite delicious and well served. I had fish tacos and my husband had the fish n chips. Both were flavorful and perfectly cooked. We always have a great meal at The Wild Goose
Fantastic service. Our server, Dana, was extremely helpful with the menu, very pleasant and quick with service. She made perfect recommendations. We sat in the room with the bar so it was very crowded and loud but they were happy to move us to a table along the bench which gave us some privacy. We’re locals but we haven’t been there since they renovated. We’ll definitely be going back.

nice building. the staff is so incredibly rude. they waited to serve us for almost an hour while we sat there patiently. we asked to have a specific college football game played on the tv and they did not oblige. specifically, there is a waiter named matt who was very unprofessional. i’d spend my money elsewhere.
All we have to say is THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. The mac and cheese, the pasta, the fries and the cod were fab! the Molton lava cake was incredible. The burger came undercooked and they were ready to fix it in a heartbeat!
On a recommendation, we dined at the Tavern. Atmosphere was happening. Our table was not a nice a choice so the staff moved us and we were very grateful. Yessi was a nice and efficient server.
We had a delicious lunch today! Nina (our server) was amazing an absolute delight. 5 stars all around!
