Firstly I have to say I was impressed by the vegan options, we had two dairy free requirements in our group and to have so many options was refreshing, children’s meals included. That’s about where it ends for positivity...the service was painfully slow, staff not really trained in any kind of “customer service” though the waitress who served us wasn’t unpleasant, she seemed out of her depth. We had to leave without the children having their puddings, when I mentioned this to the staff member as I requested the bill (having had to wander around the restaurant to find someone as the waitress seemed to be ignoring our dirty plates), they shrugged....a missed opportunity to see what had disgrun...
Staff appeared inexperienced and lacking knowledge of the products. The beer I ordered was unavailable but replaced with a similar product. We were asked by at least two different staff members if we'd like to order and I wasn't asked how I wanted a steak cooking. When I pointed this out I was informed that the till didn't offer this request! Another staff member then arrived and asked me how I'd like it cooking! The food was decidedly average and overpriced for what it was. Luckily I had a discount voucher which made it more tolerable
The food was very nice, and we were thrilled to get the food half price as it was a Monday. However, hubby's prawn and chorizo was a bit bland (the chorizo should be chopped up more and used to flavour the rice imho, to increase the depth of flavours) and my mushroom chicken risotto needed a lot more seasoning. BUT the biggest thing against our visit was that it was cold. I know it was quiet, but even so... I had to use my coat over my legs, it was that chilly and the toilets were freeeeezzzing!!
Lovely setting for restaurant, the Cobb Salad really delicious possibly one of the most delicious, well presented meals I've ever tasted. Only let down by very slow service, luckily I was meeting a friend for lunch in our leisure time had it been a work day we would have had to cancel our order leave. I usually visit the Worcester Wildwood where service is prompt but now after two lengthy waits at Ludlow (both for lunch) I might think again before a repeat visit.

Visited for Lunch, wife has had various operations on her digestive systems, and she chose a rissotto on the understanding it could be served witout chilli. Food arrived, first mouthful she exclaimed 'this has chili in ', waitress was called back, said she had told kitchen 'no chili ', took the meal away to be replaced. Same mussels came back, washed and lukewarm. No apology at any time. Debbie 's mouth was swollen by the chilli, ruining our afternoon.
The service was slow tonight, but the food was consistent with previous visits and just fine. It seemed like all customers were using their 50% discount vouchers. The main issue was with the toilets; both the men's and women's were partially out of order and messy. There was a lot of hazard tape used to indicate that they were 'out of order', but some men ignored it.
An enjoyable night with good food. First time visit to Wildwood in Ludlow for our friends. We were able to choose our table at the far end of the retaurant which was good. Service was a bit slow when we had finished the maln course. We had to call the waitress over to the table. Not a big issue at all.
First of going to Wildwood. It was a Monday night and was very busy. Only 3 girls serving so service wasn’t very fast (not that it was the staff’s fault as they worked very hard and were very pleasant). The food was very nice and would go there again.

After a pleasant Christmas meal at Wildwood, we decided to visit again. There was a warm welcome and a varied menu with interesting choices. The service was friendly and efficient and we enjoyed the food we had chosen.
I waited 10 minutes to be served, but was completely ignored by the staff even though there were hardly any other customers. I eventually decided to leave.
