Found this place almost by accident, and will definitely return. Not only is the coffee (or chai, or hot chocolate etc) really good, it is also fun, with new varieties being invented often. My daughter had rocky road hot chocolate - looked and smelt great. Friend had winter spice chai and I stuck with trad cap - we all enjoyed the great tastes. It's a tiny place with lots of fun touches to keep your interest as you sip your drink in the warm under-cover area, or the street-side seating area. The staff are so-o-o friendly and accommodating. Very convenient to Carnegie station. I think I would even get out of the train for a coffee here and get on the next one - it would be worth it. Probably...
I have read the latest reviews of this hotel/restaurant that differ from excellent to poor. it is hard to make a judge if the reviews are so inseparable. However, there were some recurring observations in the reviews that were the high prices and small piece sizes. Despite these points, I booked a group for a Sunday dinner. the restaurant is brightly spacious. we had three different waiting staff at our table and the service varied from attentive cheerful, perfunctory efficiently to essentially indifferent. very RUDE/RACIST staff and extremely bad service for tonight. standing in front of the employees and trying to get a table, 2-3 of them simply passed by without gruß or eye contact at all. I thought they were busy, so they waited with geduld. I finally realized that they only ignore me. I told an old guy after he finished his call that I was hoping to get a table for a few drinks. he led me, but halfway started to serve other customers and just left me. how reddish! called for lunch and was greeted and sitting on a beautiful table, the waiter was great, friendly and helpful! good selection of foods that they can choose together with beer and wine. I had the barramundi, which was cooked nicely, but on the small side! Great place that is worth a visit!

This is a great bar hidden among the new appartments around Carnegie station. Great everything! Atmosphere. Decor. Service. Price! I haven't eaten there yet, but I will and I'm sure it'll be great! The Bill Murray is well worth finding.
I recently had coffee and snack at The William Murray. It was great. I once owned the building and it is a credit to the guys for the way they have set it up.I am sure they will do well. Theambience and decor is very inviting.
This place is a little gem, tucked away opposite the Carnegie railway station. Great coffee and friendly service. Nice atmosphere.They now make delicious savoury muffins! A rarity in Melbourne. Definitely worth a visit.
wonderful service, nothing was too much annoyed. sung happy birthday to my 85-year-old mother who was beautiful. Eat and wein were delicious. will return and will recommend friends
