As a group we managed to find 3 tables together but had to clear them and clean them ourselves with cleaning products as staff too busy. Bargain under £12 for fish chips with a double G T. Disabled toilet floor covered in water/wee? loo roll. Staff member came with a mop bucket, spent 1 minute in there then said I 've put a wet floor sign up so don 't slip just glared at me!. Few hours later I returned it was worse and stunk of pee!! 2 young women verbally fighting using bad language but not asked to leave. A staff member just stood there watching!. Our tables weren 't cleared so after over an hour we did it ourselves. Staff need training... I understand they are busy but over several hours...

Been here a few times and yes it is dark and often noisy but that’s usual for a Wetherspoons. What was unusual this time was probably the worst breakfast I have ever experienced. Veggie breakfast came without butter for the toast. Large breakfast came with 2 small butter packs which when opened spilled liquid butter all over the table. No mushrooms and Luke warm beans. The eggs were brown underneath and the yolks as hard as bullets. We were asked how are good was by a pleasant young waitress who apologised and asked if I wanted to see the manager. I asked her just to give the feedback. If the manager had been aware of the issue I would have expected them to address it, but no further contact...
Couldn't be bothered to cook so popped into wetherspoons as it was curry night. Got there about quarter past 5. Ordered by 25 past and food was on the table within 5 minutes. I thought this'll be rough. I'd ordered a beef madras and expected it to be mostly hoof and knuckle. How wrong was I. It was SUPERB food, loads of it and the staff were great also. Also a great price. Wonderful, thanks again
This restaurant is declining rapidly. The breakfast was served cold, as well as the coffee. Despite using a machine with heated water and milk, the same problem persisted with the second cup. Unfortunately, I noticed many customers opting for the café opposite, and now I understand why. I will likely avoid this place in the future. Book a table now
The place is disgusting most of the chairs are soiled and worn mostly due to people drinks and dirty clothes they wear and dogs on chairs, lot of tables had plates on them and cleared tables where dirty with crumbs on them. For a restaurant I’m surprised they allow this kind of hygiene
We frequent this pub often, mostly for breakfast. Today, we decided to try their lunch menu and had an amazing experience. The food arrived quickly and hot, and tasted delicious (plus, the peas were cooked perfectly, not like bullets). The staff were polite and friendly.
Exactly what you expect from a Wetherspoons large noisy space with people of all ages, average beer, little wine, food was okay. Remember to start walking to the toilets before you need to go as it is the usual JDW hike.
First time here and really impressed. Staff friendly and food good for the price paid. Would certainly return. Only complaint if any was the cold draft from front door when it opened, but we simply moved further back. Book a table now
This restaurant offers unbeatable value and quality. The menu has a wide selection to choose from, catering to everyone's taste. The service was also very good.
