Last week, I had breakfast, which was served hot, fresh, and in generous portions. To my pleasant surprise, the bacon was not greasy. A few days prior, I tried the rocky road dessert, which was unique and intriguing, especially the topping. The staff appears to have a basic understanding of additional needs and disabilities, making an effort to accommodate where possible. The café is wheelchair accessible, but assistance may be needed at the entrance. Inside, the café is beautifully decorated with photographs showcasing its history as a former railway station waiting room, and a log fire adds warmth to the atmosphere. Delicious food and friendly staff make this gem a worthwhile stop. Although it’s a bit off the beaten path, it’s perfect for those driving trucks or larger vehicles, as there’s plenty of roadside parking available. I highly recommend visiting this place. It’s located in the old Wilmington railway station, which showcases many interesting historical railway photographs. Plus, it’s near the old Wilmington railway bridge, adding to the charm and interest of the area.
Recently refurbished, friendly warm welcome from the girls that work there. The food is homemade and so tasty. Breakfasts are a must. The sausage rolls, scotch eggs are amazing the cakes and cookies are yummy. Highly recommend with cheap prices too.

A small cafe in the old station waiting room. Lots of historical photos and railway related thoughts on the wall. Importantly, good hot freshly cooked food at a fair price in a clean environment and served with a smile.
very nice eating n very friendly service here, would definitely recommend a visit. Too bad it's closed on Saturday.
