This restaurant was recommended by a friend so we chose to have dinner there for my birthday treat. At 7pm it was already buzzing the welcome was warm. Decor lighting created a cosy atmosphere tables were nicely spaced. Our food arrived piping hot, was delicious the helpings generous. The menu stated that ingredients where possible were locally sourced. We both chose the pork belly for our mains (our waitress told us they had replaced it on the menu with pork chop but by popular demand had changed it back again) we were not disappointed. This is our favourite place to eat. We regularly recommend it to people because it never disappoints. The food is fabulous and the staff are just amazing, they remember your name and always make you feel like their most important guest. The soft music and atmosphere is so welcoming and the decor is regular updated keeping it fresh and new. We love it!
visited during the wimborne folk festivals. the place was absolutely full. I can totally see why. fun, friendly atmosphere, workers work out their socks to serve and chat with the hunters, brilliant entertainment and such a happy chilled group of people around us. we enjoyed each other very much. I would definitely return. the place was great.
as usual, great eating and beautiful atmosphere. pudding was too sweet and rich for my taste, but others enjoyed their portions. when the evening went to the sound of other parties, it was unobtrusive not a mistake of the restaurant, but a common trend sad. Just note that Friday night is not good for intimate tete a tetes. Book a table now
After reading other peoples reviews I was really looking forward to Sunday Roast, and was not disappointed! Great food, great service, and good value for money . Worth a visit
the menu has been found to be limited. that means that we chose a court that was either not really our taste, or not what we tied up. as recommended.
