I would think a place with the name wing bar would offer more flavors of wing sauce; nonetheless to be a jack of all trades is to be a master of none. And this place has definitely mastered the Buffalo wing. Crispy yet Juicy. Hard fried but still not over fried. Decent sized wing in conjunction with a good portion and price point. Sauce is evenly coated,plenty and packed with flavor. Wasn’t really feeling the fries but the place is called wing bar. Wish they did have more tap beer options but not the end of the world. I love the food in New York but unfortunately the one area Ive always found it lacking in has always been chicken wings/buffalo wings. Well, I happened to walk past this place on my search for food down Smith street and said “why not?”. And Im glad I stopped in there. Best wings Ive had in NYC, easily. Every time I visit NYC, I gotta make it a habit to stop in now. Wings were perfectly sized, fried perfectly and the right type/amount of sauce to top it off. Staff was friendly/down to Earth as well. It’s decor is what I want in a bar. As someone who lives in Atlanta, it could give quite a few of my favorite wing places a run for their money.
This is a nice little bar on Smith street. The staff is quick and friendly. I mainly come here to watch sports and have a beer but the food is also good. The wings is an obvious choice but you should try their burgers as well. I highly recommend the Wingbar Burger topped w/blue cheese hotsauce. It is delicious. My wife had the Sloppy Joe sandwich w/side of coleslaw. It was good but a bit too sweet. They have a limited selection of beers but the Captain Lawrence IPA is a good choice. Getting a pitcher is more bang for the buck.
Make sure to bring cash, as it’s more affordable. But let me tell you about these hot wings—THESE HOT WINGS! They are absolutely delicious, with the perfect sauce blend and just the right amount. The burger was tasty, although it wasn't prepared exactly how I ordered it. As for the fries, they were pretty standard.

Some quality wings!! Joe helped me out and he was amazing! Wings were bomb af. Only thing I’ll say is I get medium and there was no kick at all to them, so next time I’ll go for hot. The fries were really good, similar to Wingstop fries. I can’t wait to go back!

Classic Wings and Beer! They finally made an Extra Hot sauce which is amazing. The BBQ and all the buffalo sauces are spot on too. Wings in a bowl, beers for days and all the sports games you can handle. A great place!
I had some of the best wings I've ever tasted—crispy with a deliciously tangy sauce that isn’t your typical Frank's. The homemade chips were epic as well!
