Holy smokes, this place is AMAZING! I just had the best sandwich I think I?ve ever had. Order the Cubano, it?s fantastic. And where else are you going to get a cubano? I love the vibe here, too. Their pork is from a local shop and so is their soda. I had the ?Special? soda on Doug?s recommendation and it was just like a bomb pop popsicle, how he put it, but even better. Our group of seven was very pleased with our meals, which included a variety of meaty sandwiches, wraps, and hearty salads. The restaurant was charming, featuring high-quality meats and fresh produce, as well as other local products (including take-home bacon!) and board games. The service was exceptionally friendly, especially from a young server who demonstrated impressive skills at such an early age. I highly recommend this place!
The best sandwiches in town! My wife and I have been residents of the neighborhood for years, and we only recently decided to give The Winking Rooster a try. It only took one visit for us to get hooked! We wish we had discovered it sooner! Everything we've tried has been fantastic, but we particularly love the Cubano, Pulled Pork, and Pastrami sandwiches.
Had the cubon, it was delicious. Bread was perfect for the sandwich, and just enough quantity in the sandwich. The girl that took our order was outstanding, nice, and walked us through the process to make sure we had everything we needed. I will be spreading the good news about this fantastic place and will be back soon. Thanks.
first time here. I had chili and the seasonal berry salad. everything was great! they accommodated my FIL's dietary needs. They were very kind!! I will be returning.
