A great location if you're hiking from hope and a traditional British pub. However that's as good as it gets from me for this place. We booked to stay here on Air B&B for a night over the Easter weekend (2022) for the latter point. The booking confirmation came through and the payment was taken two nights before. We went to check in around 17:00 and they had sold our room to someone else! They had no rooms left and so we had to quickly book elsewhere. Luckily we managed to book somewhere in Buxton (20 min drive).That's beyond unacceptable management and poor at best! Thankfully we were able to find somewhere over the busy Easter weekend. But it was sheer luck there was a room available elsew...
